My partner and I went for lunch. Though staff were friendly, the food was dire! We couldn't make out the menu as it was typed (in small letters, crammed) on acetate and then paper-clipped to a board with a pattern showing through, rendering it almost impossible to read.
We ordered falafel and flat bread and morrocan chicken on flat bread. Falafel was deep fried and chewy, came with one cold flat bread. Chicken was miniscule, served on a cold chewy flat bread, un-washed spinach that was gritty, very oily too. Plate of chips was £2.50! Expected home made for the price, what we got was a small plate of frozen, cheap chpis.
Drinks were very expensive. Rubbish food and rip-off prices.

Went there for lunch on Saturday with my fiancee. ordered the sausage and mash and it was dreadful. it was obvious it had been reheated from the night before and the gravy tasted like watered down packet gravy.
The service was also poor (save for one waiter who was pleasant enough). One woman in particular, (I think the manageress) must have got out of the wrong side of bed. Surly beyond belief and completely incapable of cracking a smile.
Its a pity because the dining room is relaxed and cosy.
