i eat here regularly and every time the serivce has been to an exceptionally high standard and the food has been delicious. There is a great atmosphere especially when the pianist is present. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed but fun at the same time. Affordable and delicious. A 10 out of 10 for me

when we arrived to the door we were told instantly that we could not come in.and the staff looked at us as if we were comman as muck.(we were all dressed very nice i must add and very well behaved). when we explained to them that we had a table booked we were told to go through(no apologie).we were told to wait at the bar because our table wasnt ready as it was quite busy,we waited about 15mins.the service was ok but some of the staff seamed very stuck up and you feel like your being looked down to.the waitress was quite miserable and found it very hard to crack a smile.when our food was delivered-everyones looked lovely.i couldnt wait to tuck in as id hardly eaten that day and i was STARVING!! to my dissapointment the rissotto that my friend and i had was not cooked properly.the rice was really hard(to the point were we had to keep picking the bits out of our mouths). when we told the waitress she said ok and took it into the kitchen.she came back and said the chef aggreed it wasnt cooked and would we like a another rissotto made.by this point the others had all nearly finished and we were going to meet friends.so time was running late.i said no thank you,but i never got an apology from the chef or the waitress. which i found disgusting.as we were leaving we got just outside the door and it was pouring down,so as i started to do the zip on my coat and a female and male bouncer demanded that i moved to the pavement(i wasnt blocking the doorway or anything).i found the restaurant great for people who are very stuck up and love flashing the cash.if you go there to have a laugh and lovely meal with your friends and expect a friendly service-dont go there.my advice-go to the living room in liverpool instead.the staff are brilliant there.very friendly and you can have a laugh with them.also great atmosphere.

We went to the Living room for a friends birthday. I have been before and thought it as excellent but it has gone very much downhill!
The service leaves a lot to be desired, our parties food was not all brought at once.
The quality of food was not very good - the olives tasted cheap and briney and the fillet steak that was ordered rare came out dry and well done. Alos, the coffee was cold when it arrived.
It is not a cheap place!
