Didsbury Village Restaurant

Went to the restaurant last week and it was fantastic. went on a tuesday so restaurant was pretty quiet but this did not detract from the evening at all. The service was amazing - its one of those places where the waiters actually know how the specials are made, the ingrediants etc. i asked a question about one of the main dishes and it felt like i was speaking directly to the chef as my waiter was so knowledgeable and took such a pride in his work - a rare occurence in todays restaurants! The food itself was fresh, home cooked and of great size portion. My companion was a vegetarian and said it was the best veggie meal she had, had for years compared to the normal restaurant veggie fare! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!
