We have been taking the family here for about 5 years now. The kids are always welcome. Food is always varied and service is "help yourself".

Cosy and always clean. If a problem does arise tell somebody, they are only too willing to help.

May not be the best place for anybody permanantly wheelchair bound.

this place is utterly disgusting

food was cold and hard. it smelt like a toilet and the staff were rude.

when i complained the manager told me "well i like it so it must be ok" and laughed in my face.

after i told him i wasnt going to pay as i hadnt eaten anything he then started talking to his collegue in chinese started laughing and then told me i couldnt leave without paying.

this place is not worth a penny. please do not eat here.

there are plenty more all you can eats which are worth the money

me and my bf went last night and it was just like canteen, a bad one at that, and food was tasteless and one of the staff kept filling up mussels and stiring them in, that put me off. we had chilli beef. it tasted stale. the week before we went to the one round the corner peking court and service was wonderful, food very tasty and plenty of choice and food was fresh. i had read that no1 had good reviews and it was awful. didnt even want to pay for such awful food the best thing we had there was the coke

The worst experience of a Chinese buffet I have ever had.

First of all, I have a friend who uses a wheelchair and crutches to get around. This resturant had no level access into the building, okay, I accept not all buildings can be adjusted to include this access, but there wasn't even a disabled toliet. Is that legal?

Once my friend had managed to make it down the stairs, and we had carried her wheelchair after her (might I just add here - a young boy offered to help us carry the wheelchair, but none of the staff bothered). We were lead to a table that was reasonably cramped, it was awkward to position the wheelchair and the staff didn't offer anywhere to put it anywhere else.

We were then prompted to buy a lunch menu (by this time it was around 16:00) which ended at 16:30, we were not informed of this and presumed the lunch menu was the best choice, as the waitress told us to buy it. Fifteen minutes later, we told that we had to "get out" (after having already paid for our meal and drinks) by 16:30. Nowhere on the menu did 16:30 was the end of eating time, and that you should have to return the table. Neither did the waitress inform us.

Furthermore, one of my friends had decided she wasn't hungry enough to pay for an "all you can eat". She took a hash brown from another friends plate, about two minutes later the waitress told her that as she had shared a meal she had to pay.

Finally, we were shortchanged by £4, we didn't feel we could approach the staff about this, as they were so hostile towards us.

Overall, I will never be going back. Despite the food being quite nice.

An average all you can eat that caters for most.

Certainly not the best all you can eat Chinese that I have been been to, but it was Ok. Slightly odd that they had cocktail sausages in the starter section, and then some baked beans and essentially hot custard near the main Chinese dishes. Also slightly disappointed that there was no spring rolls, but they did lay on the famous Chinese cuisine of Samosas instead, but they were actually quite nice so it was okay!

Although the dessert nice cream serving scoops were kept in water, this is quite normal practice, they cannot provide you with a new serving scoop for every person that wants some ice cream.

Generally the food was quite nice, your typical Chinese takeaway food really, it was nothing out the ordinary or spectacular, it filled you up and tasted alright. The spare ribs were very good though.

I probably wouldn't return, as I like to try the different places where you can get all you can eat.

This would be a reasonable restaurant, were it not for the staff who hover over you like flies, waiting to take your plates regardless of whether you have finished eating or not. Very annoying.

Main meals were OK, plenty of choice, and replenished regularly. However, we did have to ask for soup to be brought out.

Additionally, as with most chinese buffets, the hygiene around serving yourself dessert leaves much to be desired. There were two ice cream scoops left in a jug of murky water for all patrons to use to scoop ice cream from industrial sized cartons that will have seen hundreds of hands before yours.

Don't expect any privacy either, as you are so close to the next table you might as well be on the same table.

Not the cheapest or best Chinese buffet in Manchester, we've definitely been to better.

A great place. Far and away the best of the Chinese buffets in town. They have many, many more dishes than the average buffet, and the best of them are fully as good as what you'd get on the a la carte menu in most sit down chinese places. The worst of the dishes are still pretty good. I can honestly say that I've never had a dish here that was less than quite nice.

The service I find to be very good, such as it is. It's a buffet, so you're not expecting them to come round with white gloves on. But they seat you quickly, and fill your drink orders promptly, and most importantly keep the food topped up.

As far as the guy complaining because they wanted to charge him more if he stayed past 6:30, why SHOULDN'T they? For dinner they bring out quite a few extra, and more expensive dishes, so I don't blame them for not wanting people turning up just before dinner, paying the lunch price, and then eating all the dinner goodies. That is simply them being reasonable, in my view.

In any case, I VERY highly recommend this place, it's sensational.
