Disappointing. Tepid greasy undercooked food. Service brusque.

Maybe I went on a bad night, but I will never know since I won't be going again.

We went last nght with a group of 25 adults and 4 children for our wedding meal the food was excellent and the staff very helpful and welcoming, all our guests commented on the food and the drinks and many of us are going to be returning. thank you for a lovely night it made our wedding day many thanks jan and zah

Cafe Istanbul is a restaurant I used to eat in fairly regularly several years ago, so it was with interest that I went there with my new boyfriend - his first time there. I only had good memories to go on so hoped we wouldn't be disappointed. I liked the changes they had made to the layout - it used to be a little squashed with tables close together. The food was every bit as good as I remembered it - my boyfriend was suitably impressed - what a relief! The only fly in the ointment was the use of spray cream on the desserts. I can't see any reason for a reputable establishment to do that.

I made reservations at this restaurant while I was traveling overseas for work... I was worried about the dinner reservation as it was made for my boyfriend's birthday and it was our first one together. I mentioned I was traveling a lot before the date and that it would be for my boyfriends birthday so they offered to get a ballon or whatever else to make the evening special. They wound up getting me candles for a cake (which was really important to him).

I would not have been able to organise anything special without their offer. He loved it! He could not believe the ballon and the candles, they really made his birthday. And the service was abosultely wonderful, both of the women who served us were fabulous. It was the best night we have had in a really long time. ....not to mention that the food is outstanding! We will definately be back. We ordered the sampler platter and litterally had so much food we could not believe it, we left with three boxes of leftovers because the meat was too good to leave!

I have never had a restaurant take such good care of me ever. We will be back again - amazing restaurant.

I went with my freinds oi this restaurant and we were served by a turkish lady who was very freindly and helpful ,the food was great , will definatley go back.
