We stumbled across the Rice Bowl when looking for somewhere to have sunday lunch (we were initally planning on going to Chinatown) and I have to say I was well impressed.

Lovely little place with nice and friendly staff and really clean and modern-looking (not like "some" restaurants in Chinatown, which can be a little tacky at times). The menu had a mouthwatering selection of dishes for any pallet, including vegetarians, and the prices are more-than reasonable for a city centre place.

I would highly recommend the fillet steak with black bean and garlic. Absolutely gorgeous.

Needless to say, first impressions were great and we'll definately be going back on a more regular basis.
