a huge thank you to Jenny and all the staff for a fantastic 5oth birthday party.I had 48 guests all served at the same time with the best chinese food you find anywhere in Manchester.Party poppers,balloons and superb service made for the best birthday celebration ever.Wether you want an intimate dinner or a celebration bash the Rice Bowl is the place to go.

Loved the place, the food was nice, the atmosphere was good, and the place was packed out which is always a good sign, the service was alitlle slow at first, but i guess this was just because it was so busy, that is my only cristicism as everything else was very good.

Would definitely go back.

Thank you rice bowl for making my birthday memorable. It was lovely to have the table specialy decorated, balloons, happy birthday sung and a gift.

The service was very good and food great especially the crisy duck.

Hope to see you again in 2007!

I had been to the Golden Rice Bowl for many years with work colleagues and we always thoroughly enjoyed the meals - we usually had one of the banquets and were allowed to swap meals from other banquets. I lost touch with a couple of my colleagues and one, who I have kept in touch with, went to work abroad. I noticed it had changed its name to the Rice Bowl and wondered if it had changed management. My friend was over in England for a few days, on personal business, and we visited the Rice Bowl on 11 Dec. I had warned her it may have changed but we were pleasantly surprised to see the same lady there and receive the same excellent service and value for money. However, we both thought that the food, though very good before, was now excellent. I can recommend it to anyone.

As everyone else has said, this is a beautiful little restaurant with polite and friendly staff. The food is always served promptly and cooked beautifully.

The fixed menu has a great selection and is well priced considering the quality of the food.

The atmosphere takes you to another little world (as there are no windows - by no means a bad thing!)

Well worth a visit!

Have visited the ricebowl for over ten years. we like the fact that as well as the food being superb time and time again they are always putting money back into the buisness into the decor.
