The whole french themed menu evaded me. The lunch time set menu had 3 choices, fish and chips, sausage & mash or a cheese omelette, try as they did to mislead customers with glorified titles. Steak cost £15, a sauce to accompany it cost £2 extra. The waiter did offer us some garlic bread while we waited then added £5.50 to the bill for it. The portions are too small and for that kind of money at 2pm in the afternoon, I could have had lunch in any of the very best of Manchesters resturants. Daylight robbery, not impressed.

The worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. Pre dinner drinks slow to arrive. {20 minutes) This in a half empty restaurant.

The sharing starter for we ordered was was not what we asked for. We also ordered olives with our drinks. I had to go across to the waiter at the bar to remind him. They eventually turned up, and then a second lot turned up with our main course

Of the party of four , one ordered a minute steak, and another a rump steak, but what turned up were two minute steaks. The minute steak costs £8.95, the rump steak £14.95. The waiter was not able to distinguish between the two. They did admit they had got the order wrong.

What was very clear was the staff could not care less. They were a perfect example of why corporate food chains have such a poor reputation for customer service.

For the first time in my life I did not leave a tip in a restaurant.

Service here is AWFUL with the exception of one waitress (didn't catch her name) who is an asset to the place- no one else seems to care.
