We ate at this restaurant midweek. The staff were rather surly and unfriendly. The menu was very good, but the food was not as good as we expected. The 'homemade' chips were a big disappointment. In all the prices are high, paying £2.95 for each portion of veg is a rip off.

Had an absolutely fabulous time. Tom at 101 have got it just right - perfect food, excellent service and fantastic atmosphere. Great value for money! Unfortunately, it has spoilt us for going anywhere else so we will be very regular visitors from now on.

101's is quite pricey but the food is fantastic, I went recently and found the staff very helpful but maybe a little over worked. I had scallops to start which was very tasty. I then had the lamb which was fantastic and i shared a pudding with my fiance which was not my intention but it was so nice that i had to pretty much polish it off. Due to the cost i consider this to be a special occassion restaurant but i will definetly return.

Beware - the prices on the web menu bear no resemblance to those on the restaurant menu.

A portion of steak pie is actually £13.95, and this does not include potatoes or vegetables.

I went to this restaurant last year for the early evening menu (up to 6.00 pm). I had soup which was lovely, as a starter. My friend had fishcakes, which consisted of two nugget sized fishcakes. We then had the chicken which arrived without vegetables, and the size of it was pitiful.

When we complained, we were asked what did we expect, as the restaurant is in Stockton Heath! I asked if raw ingredients are more expensive in Stockton Heath.

When faced with our complaint, and asked why the early menu did not state that vegetables were not included, or even have vegetables listed separately, which would be a clue, we were met with superciliousness. I filled in a feedback form, but never heard from them.

You may ask why I went back again after this experience. The answer is that my company had our Christmas meal there, and it was very enjoyable. I was hoping that paying full price for food would mean decent portions and vegetables! When faced with paying nearly fourteen pounds for a piece of pie, however, I could not bring myself to do it and left.
