I celebrated my 18th birthday here last september with a few of my close friends. The service and atmosphere was brilliant!I highly recommend the steak in a peppercorn sauce delicious! value for money was very good too! Definately going back very soon :D

well i always go to velvet and every time ive never been let down, staff are polite and friendly.

if you go try the steak with salad its gorgeous and i just love the feta cheese and tomato parcels.

Each time I have dined in Velvet it has always been fabulous. The food is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and this is accompanied with a relaxing atmosphere. Which has brought me coming back again and again. I recommend the Pesto Chicken.

I have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Velvet. However the quality of the food seems to have taken a serious downturn recently.

Do not order the Malaysian Curried noodle soup. Sorry cannot remember the actual name of the dish but for a dish costing £10 it was horrible. I should know I lived in Asia and know what is sahould taste like.

The problem with Velvet is the menu is far too broad and the chef cannot be expected to cook everything well.

As a plus thoughthe staff were as friendly, attentive and courtious as ever.

Just don't have the curried noodle soup
