What a terrible place, floor was dirty, it took 40 minutes to get our meal although the place was less than half full and when it arrived comprised of something the size of a small goldfish with a few chips and was grossly over priced. Never again

My family and I went to The Manchester Old trafford Harry Ramsden, What an absolute rip off!! My fish was a childs portion, the Diet Coke was like water. and the price for this was extortion. Never again will I ever go to Harry Ramsden, my local fish n chip shop sells better and at half the price.

Restaurant cold, beer colder. Service slow, batter soggy, portions variable. Chips tasteless. Diet coke cost more per half pint than beer. Prices extortionate. Won't go there again. Used to eat at the old Water Street branch - this wasn't a patch on that.

We ate at the resturant next to manchester united football ground, it was a treat for my aunt who was visiting from somerset. What a let down ,the price and portion size left a lot to be desired, never again !

HR claim to do the "best fish and chips in the world". I disagree. I happen to prefer my chips well gcooked - crisp on the outside, fluffy inside. HR's view is that the chips have to be cooked for 9 minutes - and that's it. No choice, take it or leave it.

The fish was fine - but the chips aren't.

I have been to two Ramsden's including this one. I really wasn't impressed. The food was cold and not as fresh as I had expected. The fish was more cold batter than anything and the chips had obviously been lying around for quite a while. The staff were efficient. Certainly wouldn't go again.
