The Famous Sam's Chophouse
your comments review this restaurant
Last Saturday (22/07/06) I experienced what was the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant.
The lost orders and interminable waits were only slightly less irritating than the unsympathetic attitude displayed by the manager to our complaints.
Hard to judge the food because half of it was cold when it arrived
Avoid at all costs.

Not a Chop in sight, but lots of traditional English food in a traditional basement "pubstyle" restaurant. On the one level the restaurant really does look the real thing, perhaps tries too hard to be the real thing, but it charges prices to match - you pay heavily for ambiance and atmosphere, not for the food! Busy; at lunchtime full of young business types, in an evening groups of teachers on outings! Good for a one-off visit, but would not make it my "regular" eating house!
