The Cocoa Rooms Restaurant In Manchester

your comments review this restaurant

After reading all the hype on the Cocoa Rooms I couldn’t wait to find our whether it was worth the rave reviews. I went to the Cocoa Rooms for dinner on a Friday night. My fiancé and I were kept waiting at the reception for at least 10 minutes when there were many staff that just walked past. After getting the attention of a waiter we were seen to our table for a Friday night it was fairly quiet. Expecting things to get better at this point we waited a further eternity for our drinks menu, then again for some one to take our order! When we had finally ordered drinks and food we were optimistic on the food making up for the poor service we had received, surprise surprise the food was average to say the least we ordered a noodle dish which was hotter than a vindaloo, so much so I didn’t even get through it and their fat chips were burned potato wedges smothered in rock salt. All in all I was utterly disappointed especially as it was very quiet and they had staff hanging around chatting rather providing the service required. As for the people in the kitchen I hope I just caught them on a bad day, with the poor quality and taste I encountered the clientele they are trying to attract will not get past a first meal.
