Love Saves the Day

All you people saying Lstd is big headed and pompous need to check yourselves!
It's not a praising name, I know the story behind it and it's actually romantic. And the staff are LOVELY.. they aren't buying into a lifestyle at all.. it's something they all actually believe in. I had the food on the valentines day restaurant night and it was the best darn meal I've ever eaten out. There was nothing poncy about it, it was good homecooked fresh food.
Quit yo' hatin' and enjoy the good food losers, or get back to your big mac's.

I'm sorry to hear that a customer has been disappointed.
Perhaps they would get in contact with me to discuss.
Kind regards,

I've been to Love Saves the Day on a number of occasions but was seriously disappointed the last time a went recently. The quality of the English breakfast ingredients were pretty poor and the service diabolical. Such a shame as it's been one of my favourites for the last 12months.

Was your so-called review of the 17th November written by a pigeon, person or a person who had had a pigeon brain transplant? There are smaller brians around, but I cannot think off-hand where.

I agree with the above. Tis a place for square glasses and scarf wearing media serfs to discuss veganism and the Halle. The seating is claustrophobic like a bus station waiting room. The way people buy in to the ‘concept’ of where they work is further laughable. In fact this place would be ok if you changed the self congratulatory name and branding and got rid of all the staff, preferably painfully. They could learn a lesson on genuine customer service from the takeaway next door.

Love saves the day is a damming reminder of how Britain might have been if the Napoleonic wars had turned out differently- a nation of bistro deli-counter shopkeepers believing there is something clever to serving coffee. The counter staff are too locked up in their own little Jamie Oliver deli dream to actually notice the customers, who wade in through a sea of pigeon excrement coating the entrance. Have the pigeons already said it all?
