Four of us dined here on a Saturday night, atmosphere of the place was lovely as you had the buzz of the bar next to you but were still able to talk. Food was well priced a tasted great, i had the duck which was cooked to perfection, my partner had a steak and said the same of his. The waiting staff were all very friendly and it was refreshing to have a conversation with them instead of the usual bored teenager you are greeted with these days. Highly recommend this place.

Ink Brasserie review. A friend booked 6 of us a table at 9ish on a Saturday night and we were ushered through to an 'area' segregated from the entrance bar area of the club. The music could still be heard, but we didn't have to raise our voices too much. I'm not convinced of the merits of calling this place a 'brasserie' having experience the real thing in Paris. I suppose it may attract the younger clientelle that frequent the Printworks into taking out their first dates to a 'flash' restaurant. To me, it was a canteen with us and 2 other couples dining. The wine list was not extensive but varied with Pinot Grigio supplied luke warm, but we were provided an ice bucket on request. My starter of goat's cheese salad consisted of a luke warm (ie defrosted) circle of cheese, a pinch of what looked like 'chinese' seaweed, and a very thin tasteless ring of jam. My main course was terrible: A small slab of overdone, dry and rubbery seabass with a tasteless block of mashed potatoes that could be lifted whole with a fork. If they'd have boiled this in a bag it would have turned out better. I thought the microwave was overheating that night but I was proved horribly wrong. The 'European' (eh?) cheese board that my friend percevered with consisted of, yes, that goat's cheese again, triangles of yellow rubber we hoped was emmental, and some frozen grapes. We queried the contents and the waitress, after querying with the 'chef', explained that there should be cheddar - (oh dear) tick, goat's cheese - tick, and buffalo mozzarella - eh? She apologised and brought back a ramikin with pieces of feta!! But what about the frozen grapes? Oh, she said, they're are meant to be frozen! This place takes the mickey without any apology and should be closed. Ink brasserie is a blot on the landscape.
