Great nite, 25 of us all said same - best nite out in Manchester by none, food is great too, gets very busy, sat is mayhem but there is still space to dance.

Went to Lamars last night, before the Take That concert. excellent service, food was outstanding, service was very good, lovely waitress, friendly and had great communication with us whilst we were there. couldnt fault anything, would recommend it to anyone, booking a table for nxt month.

great atmosphere and defiently value for money.

I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

I have been visiting Lamars since it first opened and work for a very large company nearby, we use the bar for functions and general drinks.

Last night we were in the bar for 2 leaving parties and somewhere in the region of 60 plus people were in there, as people started to leave I was sat down near the bar at the end of one of the booths on a stool placed there by the bar, we had not moved furniture there when 2 members off staff interrupted out conversation and asked us to stand so they could remove out seats as where we where sat might get in the way of people dancing!!!!

We were offered no alternative and the rest of our party were sat, so I asked so are we meant to stand the answer was yes!!!!!!! There was NOBODY dancing and the bar at this point was getting a lot quieter, the dance floor with the DJ was a good 10 feet from us!!!!!

When I asked the manager why this was the case it was the owner’s wishes and he would be very unhappy to seats there!!!

This bar clearly puts it's ego before its customers and I shall no longer visit it as strongly suggest you don’t as I will spend my money where I am welcome, the sad thing is in these economic times you would think paying customers would be welcomed!!!

Please take a look at yourself Lamars bars come and go and you could be next with that service!!!!!

Me and my husband went to lamars on saturday, what a fantastic night we danced for 4 hours! the D.J. was amazing playing all the 80s we recommend this as THE place to go, the atmosphere was great, we will be going there again and again.

went to lamars before the oasis gig had a fab meal good price wonderful service. should have stayed there all nite !!!!
