Bistro West 156

Went here on 2nd March 2011 for a meal. 6 in party. We sat down at 8 for dinner ordered drinks which was fine. After then ordering our food the starters arrived and without a 3 minute break the main course arrived but in dribs and drabs. Food was good, but those of the party that received theirs first had gone slighthly cold.

After the main course, we ordered coffees which took over 20 mins to arrive. When we finished the coffees we asked for the bill on 3 seperate occasions only to be given it after another 20 minutes of waiting.

Went to pay the bill and credit card machine was not working. The waiter took details and provided us with a food order sheet as proof of purchase.

The service was slow and un attentive, such a shame as every occasion prior to this visit has been an out and out success.

Very disappointing!

The Bistro is 5 minutes from my place of work and where I live I have been several times and I really don't know why!

The last time was for lunch on Saturday, the food was tasteless, basic, undercooked and cold!

The service extremely slow they were understaffed no value for your money!

Such a disappointment I will never attend this restaurant even again I have given them several chances and advise all not too....

Go to Greens or Rhubarb instead!
