I have been to the hellfire many a time, be it for one of their events suchs as cinema night or medieval banquet OR for their amazing sunday roast!

I see there have been a few comments which are negative made however they seem to have been made a while ago when they had a different chef and manager.

Their service is spot on, the atmosphere is amazing and the food....dont get me going i could sit and tell you how amazing each dish is to look at and eat! and the prices are reasonable...a HUGE lamb shank for £9.95 in the city centre a lamb shank would set you back £15.00.

Seriously try it for yourself, and ignore the comment about the area, i have never seen or heard of anyones car getting trashed while they were at the club. Some rather dramatic comments, but i give the hellfire 10/10 FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

I'm sorry but I cannot believe the rubbish that has been written about the Hellfire Club. I'm not in anyway connected with this place only as a customer and have only visited 3 times, twice on special occasions with my wife, first time by accident having being let down with 3 hours to go by a well established city center restaurant.... a guy from Hellfire called Dave moved heaven & earth to fit us in at the last minute on one of their main nights. But what a night.! We were seated downstairs near the entrance (a party was fully booked upstairs in the banquet room) The service was fantastic and although I knew the hassle my late booking had caused my wife was blissfully unaware and thouroughly enjoyed the evening and was entertained by the customers that entered in fancy dress. The menu is fantastic with more choices than you would imagine and the food (sorry) Is to die for ! large portions of seriously top quality food......as good as, if not, better, than the swanky hip place i had previously booked..We fell in love with the place & a few weeks later we took our friends there who, were seriously blown away not only with the service but the quality of the food. They had commented on the fact that most novelty places look great but the food is almost an after thought...not the case here!

The 3rd occasion was a few weeks back when I took my 3 and 6 year old children for a Sunday roast...needless to say a fantastic family meal was enjoyed by all and indeed the kids loved the decor especially as it was brightly lit enough for the youngsters to enjoy but remember normally it is dark and scarry as hell. Must say at the time they it was cash only but now believe they take cards, which is helpful ....also my soft top Audi including wheels, stereo and metallic paint has not seen any action what-so-ever whilst being parked outside! Seriously folks try it for yourselves it's about 1.5miles out of the city centre, a tenner if that in a taxi....and enjoy!

It's a long way out of town, not actually in Manchester, but Cheetam Hill, which is a terrible place to leave your car, if you value your wheels and stereo!

The theme is quite interesting, but badly painted stones and plastic busts does remind me a bit of someones front room done up for a halloween party.

The 'pub' food was a bit bland, not fantastic, but not bad... Not the best value compared with some of the most awesome meals I've had on Curry mile for half the price!

It's an interestng 'venue', but not a great restaurant.

I think they'd do better probably financially and popularity wise, hosting quiz nights, film nights, cards nights, wine and cheese nights, book readings, guest nights etc.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Went on the 1st birthday of the hell fire club, enjoyed a buffet style special evening. Costing a mere TEN QUID. I was worried after building my hopes up before i went i might have been dissapointed, this certainly was not the case. The food was lovely and the staff were SUPERB. So welcoming, made us feel right at home.

Thanks for a great evening....will definately be going back.

With reference to the reviews previous, I can understand about the issues with pricing being frustrated, but I think the other negative comments are a little on the over dramatic side. The decor may not have been to everyones liking but it is a theme....if ur noot keen on the theme....DONT GO!

What a wonderful place!

After visiting on a number of occasions, the Hell Fire Club and it's team did us proud again last night when we went along to celebrate their 1st birthday party. It was an absolute honour to of shared this with the fantastic team at the restaurant. Nothing is too trouble for the team and the food as always was fantastic and great value for money, the quality and quantity have always scored 10/10 with me and my family and friends.

Well what a roasting, two bad comments and not a good word to be said. Customers feedback and comments are important to all businesses, otherwise how can we improve.

At the time these reviews were written we had become a bit of a victim of our own success by getting a bit to busy too quickly. We recognised service when it came to large groups of people was not as efficient as we would like, and that sometimes there were longer waiting times than was comfortable. However getting resources and good staff ,quickly, wasnt an option as quality people take time to source. We now have a team in place that work tirelessly to meet customers expectations I am very proud of each and everyone that has contributed so much time and effort into creating this fantastic venue and continue to develope this amazing project. We celebrate our 1st birthday on Nov 30th and have learned a lot in our first year of operation, I wont pretend we got it right 100% of the time but we have taken every effort to ensure that we deliver a great night out. Some of these comments I feel are unjust such as the decor which 98% of our customers comment on and love, and certainly no one has ever waited 2hrs from ordering. for a meal. Everyone hates bad feedback but we have taken it on the chin and reacted to it and yes unless your a child, the monster gourmet burgers are £8.95 and with four sides well worth it too. We will continue to develope and improve and our friendly staff will continue to offer the best service to our discerning guests. So the only thing I can say is to try us out and judge for yourself.
