A fantastic place to eat and meet!!
I am a regular at Alberts Shed and I would just like to say that we another amazing meal there again at the weekend. I had the chicken livers for starters and the monkfish and scallop curry for mains and they were both to die for!!!!
The waiting staff were delightful and very helpful!!
We have already booked in for New years eve and cannot wait for the fabulous evening.

A disaster.
To start, despite there being no more than 50% of the tables occupied when we arrived we were informed that we should wait at the bar for 10 minutes.
Ok. Once actually seated, the service was painfully slow, to the point of us almost getting up and leaving. Starters took 1/2 hour to arrive. Wine ordered never turned up at all until a second request was put in.
The rack of lamb, which was ordered medium rare, came out solid grey, and therefore tasteless. The Rib Eye steak, ordered medium rare came out virtually RAW. After the lengthy waits, we elected to just eat the bits that were edible, rather than wait another 40 minutes.
I mentioned to the waitress that the steak was....shall we say.....a bit undercooked. To be honest, a good veterinarian could have revived it. The manager came round, saw what was left (about half) of the raw steak, listened to my remarks, which were made in the most friendly way possible, and said "sorry". That was it. No offer to take, say, 50 pence off the bill, no free glass of sparkling water. Nothing.
Happily, I'd brought plenty of cash, as their credit card machine wasn't working.
Thanks guys. I hope you enjoy the £80 I spent there. We won't be back.
