the food at mezzaluna is excellent i would definatley recommend. the ribs are to die for!!! The service is great with the manager being really helpful and friendly not mentioning very handsome!!!.i Have ate many italian meals and this is of high quality. But dont let me go on- go and try it for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me and my partner have been to the restaraunt and we found the food excellent quality.also their desserts tirimisu beutiful the service was good and attensive and it was not greatly expensive child freindly and will happily go there again

I went to Mezzaluna with friends from work. The coke was flat but the meal was nice so I made a further two bookings. One for the next week for my son's 21st and one for the following week for my wedding anniversary. When we went for my son's 21st, the service was good, the waiters were attentive but the food was awful. It had obviously been stood before it was brought out - I had a tagliatelle dish that contained about four pieces of chicken, one chopped up mushroom and one shalotte. It was further ruined by being drowned in soya sauce - it tasted like a pot noodle!! Needless to say I won't be returning for my wedding anniversary. Very disappointed.

oh dear Anne.... i have eaten at mezzaluna loads of times and the food has always been delightful, the chef is italian and is a lovely guy and as for the chinese waiteress she is fantastic and is also the co owner along with taz and seb the chef, if you had a problem with the restaurant you should have told them direct instead of expressing your gripes on a web site i have had a lot of nice meals here and would reccommend it to any of my friends, the food has always been spot on every time i have been and will be back again. x

It is very nice inside - someone has obviously spent a lot of money on it. It is classy and you can imagine having a really good function there. But I am always a bit sceptical about places that have such a massive range of food on the menu - quantity doesn't mean quality. Had a very average meal there, but it wasn't very expensive. It is different to the other restaurants and its good to have a posh place in Chorlton, but it seems odd to open a new italian across the road to the newly opened Croma, which is a great place.
