I TOOK MY FAMILY FOR A MEAL HERE TONIGHT, IT WAS FINE UNTIL WE RECEIVED THE BILL. THE WAITRESS HAD HANDWRITTEN ON THE BILL (OPTIONAL 10% SERVICE CHARGE £9.10. TOTAL £101.00) WAS THIS A CON TRICK OR IS THIS RESTAURANT POLICY. WHATEVER IT WAS IT LEFT A NASTY TASTE IN MY MOUTH AND I CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE RETURNING. THE SERVICE WAS AVERAGE AND CERTAINLY DIDNT RELISH PAYING AN EXTRA £9.10. IT WAS DOWNRIGHT CHEEKY. GOOD LUCK TO THE RESTAURANT - BUT BE CAREFUL, I DONT THINK PEOPLE LIKE BEING TOLD HOW MUCH TO TIP DINING ROOM STAFF WHO WILL BE BEING PAID WELL IN THE FIRST PLACE.

'Tasty dishes, using fresh ingredients, cooked with plenty of Latin passion' is what Las Iguanas promised. When the Argentinian Grill eventually arrived after a 50 minute wait, we were even more disappointed to find that the steak was luke warm and tasted of nothing. The side order of 'fritas' were in fact 'curly fries' - processed junk food that wouldn't look out of place on the childrens menu in a Little Chef.
The manageress eventually agreed to a partial refund but the experience left us with a very bitter taste.
I'm quickly losing faith in chain restaurants who promise so much, and who's indifferent staff deliver so little.
