would just like to say a Big thanks to all the Eden staff and a even bigger thanks to Dazz the headchef for making my wedding day so very special!! sit down meal for 85 people and every meal was perfect.. THANK YOU X

Went in Eden for the pizza n wine deal lastweek, OMG thay r the best ive ever had!! really well thought thrue.. you must have good chefs!

Eden you really do the BEST sirloin steak in manchester!!! your menu just seems 2 get better n better everytime!! i want to try everything.. and i think i will!

Lets start from the begining.....

The day:

It was one of those rare sunny days in in Manchester, which then led onto a fine evening and me and my friend decided to go to Eden for a meal, after all we had heard the food was fantastic.

Time and Place:

So it was around 7:30pm and we decided to take advantage of the floating barge which floats along the canal side to dine, may I say very continental.

The service:

The waiter came over and offered us drinks, went over the menu, told us the soup of the day, the specials for the day and answered any other questions which my friends can usually have.

The Meal:

We ordered a round of drinks, and decided to order the wine when our food arrived. I had the scallops to start and one of my friends had the chicken liver salad (I wont bore you with what each of us had). All of us were very impressed, we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful, even my friend who is never happy. The wine red, we decided to go with the Shiraz at only £15.95 it complimented our food perfectly. The wine arrived promptly, it was as though they were aware we had saved it until our food had arrived although non of us had said anything, if that was the case, it was a very nice touch.

The starter plates were cleared and we decided to have a cigarette, and the fact we did not have to move as we were outside on the floating barge meant we could smoke at our table.

The mains, I had the chicken arrabiata and my friend had the swordfish, the waited topped up our glasses offered us black pepper and left us to enjoy yet another mouth watering meal. The arrabiata had lots of chicken, something I did not expect and the swordfish had such a mouth watering aroma, the people on the next table were talking about it.

once again we all enjoyed our main course, our plates were once again cleared promptly, very attentive waiters, asked if everthing was ok, eventhough they could see we had all cleared every last piece of food off our plates.

We were then offered desserts, we decided not to as we had eaten enough with the size of those portions and we were suppose to be out all night!

All in all I give the meal an A* the service an A*, I had only heard about Eden before, now I know that I sure will be going back.
