Very disappointing. Our food was clearly microwaved, my enchilada was full of raw onion and pepper that clearly hadn't been cooked before being nuked!

Service was slow and largely inept, due to the overworked staff. I would recommend eating elsewhere: even McDonalds tastes fresher.

I arrived with my family, we were soon seated and served with drinks. I orderd steak salad and a baked potato. The steak was like leather, the potato was hard and the salad was swimming in some kind of concoction. I sent it back only to receive a fried steak and hard potato after my family had eaten. I sent it back again and was informed by the embarrassed waitress that the manager would come and see me. My husband didn't enjoys his chicken but the kids were happy with their ribs. Over priced, poor customer service as the manager didn't speak to me and I wil never eat there again.

went to the trafford centre for the first time ever, and after a long day of trying to shop with my younger brothers and auntie we all liked the look of the menu of the exchange bar and grill we arrived 2.00pm

we had to wait 30mins till there was a table free, yet we counted nine tables free and only two people a head of us on the waiting game. we went to bar to ask for drinks while we where waiting, but was constantly interrupted by the staff asking for there drinks so after ten minutes waiting for our drinks we finally got them.

we where then seated by one waitress and was asked did we know what we wanted before she had even given us the menu, to which we said no and she tutted, and said i will be back in a few minutes, after thirty minutes another waitress came and asked us for our order. we ordered the tower of onion ring, a child's chicken meal, a Boston burger, a plain burger, and a chicken and rib meal.

it was a another twenty minutes until the starter arrived to which we where told "there is no tower so just have this bowl full" which we did not really mind until we found the food still to be frozen and not even warm, so i went up to the stand where all the waitress where waiting at and asked if they sold hot food or if we had to cook the food our self, so they took them away and came back out with our mains and not the starter.

the child's meal and plain burger were cooked and looked nice. the boston burger was burnt and to hide this fact they had added what looked like a whole bottle of bbq sauce on the burger, which made it worse. the waitress would come near our table, and no drinks where offered at all, we asked for the bill as it was now half four so it took over two hours just for a meal, and we really could not wait any longer for them to re heat the food, to which we found out that we had been charged for the onion rings which we did not eat or receive back, and a bill of £45 was over the top, as two thirds of the order was not eaten.

i would tell anyone looking at going here don't, just really don't it's a waste of money and time

This review is regarding the Exchange Bar & Grill restaurant which is located on the first floor of The Trafford Centre, Manchester.

On arrival to Exchange at approximately 7pm my partner and I were shown to a large table at the front of the restaurant. A waiter came to take our drinks order and we decided on a starter to share. The 'Onion Ring Pole' with various dips was enjoyable and a decent size for two people. Once we had finished our starter nobody came to clear our plates or offer us any more drinks. Twenty minutes later our main courses arrived, 'The Ultimate Burger' and 'Spicy Chicken Enchiladas'. My enchiladas were presented well, the spicy beans and rice complimented them nicely. However, my partner's meal was the "ultimate disappointment". It was obvious that the burger had been cooked a while a go and 'hot held' to be served. By the time it reached our table it was dry and luke warm. The biggest disappointment was the bap/bun that the burger was served with arrived unedible with an extremely visible ring of freezer burn. The meal was unpleasant to eat especially since we were not offered any further drinks to accompany our main meals.

A short while later a young waiter approached our table to ask if we "wanted anything else", bill already printed off and in hand. He half heartedly asked if we wanted any desserts whilst we sat amongst our collection of starter and main plates. When we replied no thankyou, feeling unsatisfied with our last course, he left us with the bill and our plates. Hoping to make a quick exit and not wanting to complain, we waited for our change (not wanting to leave a tip), all the waiters avoided our table during this time. Our waiter then returned to finally clear our plates, at this point he asked if everything was OK with our meals. Feeling quite annoyed with the unsatisfactory main course and service, I decided to complain about the freezer burnt bun, to which he replied "thats nice". Another ten minutes later we gave up waiting for our change and left.

Went here just last night and it was the worst restaurant ever! Ended up going in for the £8.95 deal for a starter and main course which seemed ok

Sat down and waiter came over to take our orders. Drinks came which we requested with no ice, but ta da they had ice wouldn't usually complain but they were half full with ice so had them sent back. Came back and one was normal coke and one diet... we ordered 2 diets. Decided not to say anything cos it seemed to take a while for the drinks and we were very thirsty!

Waited half a hour for our starters which we only complained about after noticing people coming in after us were getting theirs first. Seriously lets not kid ourselves its not fresh so how long does it take to microwave some potato skins?

After a 'I'll just go and check' from the waitress (the waiter we originally had seemed to be avoiding our table) she came back to say they were just being 'plated up' about 5 minutes later they came.. plates red hot food was not and nothing special. Finished our starters and around 10 minutes later the waitress came over and said she had a word with the manager and we wouldn't be charged for the starters which we thought was nice. Around 5 minutes later the waitress came back and said she was really sorry but there wasn't any pork left for the main course (we had ordered wraps- one chicken one pork) all we could do was laugh! seriously how long does it take to realise you don't have the ingredients for the main course??

The chicken one came which looked extremely microwaved and the coleslaw was the oddest coleslaw ive ever tasted! After I finished waited ages for the plate to be cleared the waiter we had in the first place was still waiting tables around ours but walked straight past ours and went and stood and the doorway.

Ended up paying £6 for the main course which I still thought was expensive for what it was mind I wouldn't of paid 60p for it!

Judging by other reviews this wasn't a one off either, I think this place seriously needs to interview its staff more seriously!
