Went here on Monday 21st with my boyfriend for a late lunch at about 4pm, so there were a few people in but not exactly hectic, so we ordered our meal and drinks and then sat waiting for 40 minutes for the starter to arrive. By this point I'd pretty much finshed my drink and my boyfriend had definatly finished his vanilla milkshake as there about 3 slurps to it! Two other couples that had arived after us had eaten theirs so when I asked the waitress , who seemed to be preoccupied with everything but us, how long it would be she went straight to the kitchen where ithe plates came out red hot, asif they'd forgot and put them under the grill for a few seconds. (Used to work in a resraurant so I know it happens.)
Also the fact that both our starters were dried out completely.
We thought it couldn't get any worse or could be made to wait much longer, boy were we wrong, after waiting again for our mains I asked another waitress as ours had disappeared what the problem was and she said it's because a large group had come in, which were funilly enough no where to be seen and i mentioned the 2 couples that came in after us had finished and gone!
The response we got was, "I'll go tell the chef", not sure what she told him as when our mains finally came out my steak wrap was dry and tasted funny and my boyfriend had to leave most of his burger as it was the same.
When we mentioned this to the waitress she just said she'd let the chef now, again!
We had 4 different waitresses and when we went to pay and explained what had happened all we got was she'd tell the manager.
Normally I really enjoy coming here but after this i wouldn't reccommend it to any one and i won't be coming back.

I wish to write about the Exchange Bar & Grill in Salford Quays. It's the same company as the eatarie in the Trafford Centre. We went for a family Sunday lunch, which turned out to be a huge diappointment. There were about half a dozen covers in the eating area and fewer than that in the bar area. Yet almost two hours after arriving, all we had shared was one platter bewteen five of us. There was one waitress serving us and she was AWOL for quite a while. We eventually trcked down the bar manager who was apolgetic but there was still no sign of the main courses. It's a burger. pizza and grilled meat place so it was hardly complicated fayre. The platter was okayish for almost £12 but it was a dim and distant memory. When we alerted the waitress she was quick to remind us that it wasn't her fault. There were knowing and forlorn galnces among the would-be diners who were also left waiting around. So, £23 worth of starter and soft drinks and almost two hours later, we paid up and took our appetites into the early evening Salford air. It's a shame because you want to give local places a chance. However, if it carries on like this, the only significant income it will take will be behind the bar on United match days. Hope the Trafford Centre place is a lot better.

Prawns are beautiful!! But followed by a lack of choice for main courses, we ordered the Cheese burgers. It was like plastic! At £9 for a burger it was poor. We informed the waitress of the plastic burger, and she replied "someone said that earlier". Unfortunetly, the restaurant still made us pay for the meal. We won't be returning.
