A REAL DELIGHT ---- this one of many in rushole FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALK IN, THE STAFF, RESTURANT AND ATMOSPHERE IS JUST PERFECT. WE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL TIMES NOW, AND WOULDNT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. THE MANAGER IS LOVELY. HE GREETS YOU AS YOU WALK IN, AND NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. YOU WANT YOUR CURRY HOTTER OR MILDER --- JUST ASK AND IT IS DONE.

THE MANAGER HAS DONE WONDERS WITH THIS PLACE. WE FOUND NO MESS ON THE FLOORS AND THE TABLES AND CUTLERY ARE IMMACULATE. AS PRICE GOES, CANT FAULT THAT EITHER.

I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMED THIS RESTURANT. YOU LIKE MY HUSBAND AND I WILL RETURN TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

MY FINAL WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS PLACE IS LIKE GOING TO AN OLD FRIENDS FOR DINNER.

MANY THANKS SHERE KHAN SEE YOU SOON. JOANNE AND ROBIN

(BE BACK THIS WEEKEND FOR SOME MORE GREEN STUFF LOL)

We decided to go there after my brother's graduation and regret it. It was, without a doubt, the worst meal we ever had. The kebabs were raw in the centre, the lamb chops were charred black, and the chicken tikka tasted like bolied chicken and had a very bright red colour to it. The decor was shabby and the waiters were unprofessional. It used to be a good place to eat but has totally gone down hill. Avoid SK at all costs!!! Thought it might have improved after the cockroach issue but it has gone worse. If you want fantastic Pakistani/Indian food, go to Akbars in Castlefield. Brill value for money, very clean meat, attentive waiters. It is a shame it wasn't open in the afternoon.

Absolutely Shocking. I was there for over 1 hour and still no food came. The waiter came 3 times to ask me what I wanted to order. The drinks took a couple of asks to come. I left and they still charged me £5 for my drinks. Absolutely awful, never again.

Went there last Friday evening - busy but got seated. Didn't know in advance but was pleased to see the buffet (£11.95 for anything you can eat). Generally quality was good, with good range of food. Service was OK but had to ask waiter twice for the bill. Would go again and take more time to eat more !

What has happened to the Shere Khan I knew. Spent several years living in Rusholme and enjoyed a few great curries at the Shere Khan there. Thought we'd top off a bit of late night shopping at the Trafford Centre with a curry and a beer. It was a buffet!!!!! The food looked and tasted like it had been there all day. No vegetarian curry - just a few token veg side dishes. Dried up starter etct etc. Do not go there if your looking for a genuine curry. Shere Khan you're all brand and no substance - shame.

I have today eaten at the Shere Khan in Rusholme and have eaten there many times before so did not expect to be disappointed. The food was as good as usual but the service left a lot to be desired. The waiters were surly and clearly uninterested in the customers once inside. We had to ask at least twice for a drinks order, for cutlery and

a couple on the next table asked for a jug of water but were not offered glasses and then had to ask 10 minutes later!

When I paid the bill, my receipt was virtually thrown at me (? perhaps because I did not leave an undeserved tip). Needless to say, that was my last visit and I will not be recommending the restaurant again.
