saturday 5th april 2008 - waited at the service station to be seated for nearly 5 minutes - yes this is true. we were noticed by a girl who was clearing plates away and also by a lad who was walking around the bar area. the girl came back out from the back of the bar area and continued to clear another table - again not even acknowleding us. two sets of customers behind us decided to just go and find their own seats and they stil were sat waiting when we decided to go across the area to the bar and grill (which was a first and enjoyable visit for us). we have a loyalty card for your establishment and on a couple of past occassions have been less than impressed with the quality of service - however have continued to visit because the food is of good quality. an acknowledgement to this comment is expected. i have rated the service as an overall of past visits but it will be quite a time before we visit again unless we see a significant improvement.

Food pretty basic for the price but enjoyable - good starters. Service very good, waiter friendly & efficent. Atomsphere a bit lacking but overall pleasant visit.

Was really disappointed in all aspects of this place. Waited nearly 15 mins for drinks (after waiting over 10 mins to be asked if we'd ordered drinks yet). Had to chase this up twice. Starters came out quite quickly, had the gamberoni which was nice - but very cold (for some reason I assumed this would be a cooked starter), almost too cold though. Then waited nearly half an hour for main courses of a pasta with a tomato sauce (very basic!) and a margherita pizza....again, this was chased twice and both times we were told ours was next!? When the pasta arrived it was lukewarm (just). Pizza was actually really nice. Didn't bother sending the pasta back due to the wait we'd already had so just shared the pizza, when our waiter finally returned and we advised him that the pasta was cold we ended up having to spend 5 minutes arguing with him!!!! Couldn't believe it!! We were told that a) if we had a problem we should have sent it back to be re-ordered and b) we should expect a long wait due to the fact they were busy and it was a saturday. In fairness the manager took the pasta off the bill but all afternoon staff seemed to be wandering round lost - total lack of organisation and lack of basic customer service. Oh, and we also had to have out table re-arranged half way through our meal so they could squeeze a couple more people in the area next to us! Will not be re-visiting!

Typical est est est really!! good food, good prices and good atmosphere, not as nice as didsbury but nice place to go between shopping!! Garlic bread is to die for!
