we returned to The Market after three years and had a beautiful meal which we felt did live upto the Market we have always loved. Delicious starers , lots of choice, best steak we've had in years and the wonderful homemade cheese biscuits were to die for!!!!

Sadly, not as good as it used to be. The innovation seems to have tailed off, the prices have gone up and the food has stagnated. A real, real shame. My last (in both senses od the word) meal here was the dullest of a steadily declining experience. I dearly wish it were otherwise.

expensive, you have to pay extra for vegetables with the main (how cheap are veggies?). Portions small, dining scrunched up not good. Wouldn't go again,bit of a rip off really. Obviously trying to make money off the hip northern quarter
