I am a regular diner at this wonderful establishment. Staff are very alert and always helpful. The interior is laid out very unorthadox of a cantonese restaurant.

The East is a very good restaurant ,i use this more than any other in China town . Prices are good ,service is good.Keep up the good work.Lunch time special is the best value in Manchester .

One of my favorite chinese restaurants. Service is very good and the food is excellent. Not as good value for money as buffet places like No 1 Oriental restaurant but the quality of the food here is much much better!

The first few times I went to East I loved it and was billing it as the best Chinese in the city (with the obvious exception of the Yang Sing).

The staff were excellent and the food superb (especially the Octopus), however the last few times I've been I've felt rather disappointed by the quality of the food.

Still, the lunch time menus are unbelievably priced and well worth a visit.
