The food here was delicious and the staff very efficient. The only fault I can find is the atomosphere, kinda felt like the atomosphere you get in one of the chinese buffet dining halls, not like a relaxing restaurant. Over all, pretty good though.

This used to be my favourite restaurant when it opened and I work close by in the evenings so used to get takeaway from here regularly but they seem to have forgotten what the meaning of customer service is. We went for a meal where the food arrived promptly but it was nearly impossible to get drinks. we complained in the end and were treated like scum for complaining, the waitress stormed off in a huff and a staff member at the bar made us feel very intimidated as we left. I wrote a letter to raymond Wong as I was very disappointed and put a lot of business their way through my work but had no acknowledgement.

I have had takeaway twice since then, after a very long wait because I was so annoyed about it and each time they have got the order wrong and argued with me about it.

What happened to making the customers happy so that they would return? Mostly the food is amazing but with that kind of service it turns into a horrible experience

We went out to Moso Moso after being very disappointed with the choice open on a Sunday night in Chinatown. Everything there was either empty or over-priced. Moso Moso was a good mid-priced place with an extensive menu in both Chinses and Thai. Crispy Duck and Sweet and Sour Chicken were very good and good portion size.

A pretty good place for a good honest meal.

We went to Moso Moso last Saturday with student son and girlfriend. It was Chinese New Year and no, we hadn't booked. But the wait was small (we spent this time reading the menu, which is vast, the welcome was warm and the food was absolutely tremendous - something special for us all, including the veggie girlfriend. As usual, my son has demonstrated his great taste in restaurants.

I hope Moso Moso opens one like this in my home town of Newbury.

This "slick" restaurant has policies to rip you off. Rip-off 1) No tap water served with lunch. Rip off number 2) service included, but they will grab the bill and card machine and ask to yout add a second tip - excellent scams to add extra cost to you bill. When questioned on these policies, only smug conceit that you a punter and they are smarter than you. Avoid if you don't want to get cheated.

I have been very pleased to read the fantastic reviews detailed here on Moso Moso but thought I should make a brief comment on the review dated 26th November 2005 - to let people know that Moso Moso is not connected in any shape or form to the Pacific restaurant in Central Manchester. Moso Moso is in fact the brainchild of Raymond Wong a well known Manchester restauranteur and is owned by the Red Sail Group.

The food here is excellent probably the best Chinese I have ever tasted in Manchester. The food here is even better than the food in the Pacific restaurant which is owned by the same people. Extensive menu and very helpful staff
