Picture the scene, you pull into a gravel car park with a beautiful forcourt area to the front of the building, and walk into a clean, modern with a traditional feel reastaurnt and then......... Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Italian Restaurants I have ever been to. I live in leeds so there is plenty of competition, however, I still regularly make the trip to rochdale to visit the Bella Vista. My last trip was last night (New Years Eve 2007) and it was simply "fantastic". The service was prompt, and polite, but that was nothing compared to the food, it was devine. My girlfriend and I shared Garlic Bread with tomato and Chicken Wings in Sweet Chilli Sauce, both superb. Then the main course was no dissapointment, Sarah had Pasta with Duck Ragu, and raved about how sensational it was inbetween every mouthful. I managed to steel a bite from her plate but I wasn't too bothered as the very meaty pizza I had was excellent. The meal was finished off by a "Bella Vista Mess" this is Meringue served with strawberries, cream and raspberry sauce. And then the bill arrived, and that was the icing on the cake, all that, plus numerous drinks, including a 10% service charge for new years eve came to less than £40. A BARGAIN.

We highly recommend paying this restaurant a visit as soon as possible.
