Went on Wed Night - absolutely packed! Probably because we were in the middle of Happy Hour (5-7) which offered cocktails for £4 and pizzas for a fiver. And what lovely pizzas they were! I can't remember how many times I've had to munch through ones much dearer and stingier on ingredients at the ever ubiquitous italian restaurants in Manchester.

Despite how busy it was the waitress stayed i) sane, ii) efficient, iii) even had time for a smile! Service was quick for both food and drink and the cocktails weren't to be sniffed at. We had one such with crushed jammy dodger - must try!

All in all a wonderfully bustling place to hang out, even if their toilets seem somehow unsuited with the rest of their decor!

A great place to go to refuel on shopping trips! Especially during Happy Hour. I have been going to Grinch for about 5 years now, and it never fails to please. Great cocktails, great atmosphere and lovely pizzas.

The non-pizza menu is great too, with a nice selection for vegetarians. Funky, chilled out and a little bit quirky!

I visited Grinch recently and as always it was great, I have been visiting Grinch for years and have come to love this Manchester institution. It has recently changed it's menu and continues to keep on top of what people want. I shall be visiting Grinch for years to come.

I have been a customer of Grinch for years now, and I have always considered it one of my reliable favourites for when I want reasonably priced food with some creativity and lots of choice. I often go with a big group as it tends to cater for all sorts of different tastes. But, I went recently and don't know if the chef has changed but food was apalling - bland, unimaginative pizza and my lamb kebab was raw. I will give it the benefit of the doubt as I have always been a fan, but come on, where are the standards we have come to love and expect??

The food here is really nice and very good value. Especially if you take advantage of the happy hour 5-7 where a pizza is only £5. It has a nice relaxed easy going athmosphere. A great place to meet up with friends for a cheap and cheerful dinner after work.
